Search engine optimisation is about ensuring your site is designed, built and contains the right textual content to ensure your site appears prominently in search engines, as opposed to sponsored listings (PPC Marketing).
We believe in using responsible methods to achieve this, avoiding spamming methods often employed by other less ethical SEO companies. Many companies claim to offer guaranteed placement on search engines which isn’t something we do.
Guaranteed placement is only possible via search engine advertising and those companies who claim to get your site to the top of the normal search results (natural search - see below) usually do so with techniques that can risk long-term damage. This kind of action can result in your site being penalised or banned by search engines.
Search engines don’t want the same sites to always appear in the same search positions and constantly change their ranking algorithms accordingly. This means that having a goal of permanent top position is unrealistic. A better objective is to gain long term, consistent quality traffic to your site from search engines.
